Piano after Poland

When we were in Poland the kids were only able to practice piano once. When we were in Canada they didn't get to practice at all. After two weeks away from the piano, Sweet Son was so excited to get back to it. He played for an hour the first evening we were home and then for a total of nine hours the next day. That's impressive for anyone, but this is what really impressed us:

Playing Sto Lat - This song is performed at birthday parties and weddings. He had heard it before at birthday parties, but that is a shorter version. He figured out how to play the version he had heard at the wedding.

Chair Dancing Song - I don't know the title. This is one of the songs the band played while we were eating. Everyone was literally dancing in their chairs. The words said things like "to the left, to the right, now up and down."

He has never seen the music to either song. He also used this opportunity to request an accordion for Christmas. As you might remember, I write this blog a year in the past and he continued requesting an accordion for the rest of the year and was thrilled when he found one on Christmas morning.
