Painting Easter Eggs

In our quest to continue trying different ways of decorating eggs, the kids suggested we paint them. This seems like a simple and easy idea, so I grabbed the water colors and let them go to town.

The kids focused and had fun trying to paint all the way around when you are also trying not to drop the egg.

They tried holding the eggs various ways, setting the egg on the tray, and just rolling them around.

This did not turn out to be a clean project, but it was fun.

 

Watching the eggs dry - it's exactly as much fun as it sounds. haha
