Watercoloring the Driveway

We decided to break out the liquid watercolors and the small roller brushes on the driveway. Here are the results.

They start small testing exactly what they can do.

Then they start making plans.

They weren't allowed past that line. They push it as far as I let them, but don't cross the line. I also like the pattern.

Dots, dashes, and other randomness - maybe a secret code?

Not only does this count as art, it works on gross motor skills, motor planning, and it washes off after it rains. Granted it took almost a month to rain so most had faded away in the sunshine. Either way, no clean up!
