Zoo Animals

The kids both had an assignment to create a new animal and write a sign (fill in the blank) that would go near it in the zoo to explain it to others.

Sweet Daughter: This amazing animal is called a Gij. It can be found in the ocean. Its body is fur and tail. In its natural habitat, it eats fish and insects. For shelter, the animal is in water. The Gij is classified as a mammal. If you ever meet a Gij be sure to pet it.

Sweet Son: This amazing animal is called a Beubs. It can be found in the sand. Its body is slimy feet and big puffed up antlers. In its natural habitat, it eats bugs and pirates. For shelter, the animal goes under sand. The Beubs is classified as a mammal. If you ever meet a Beubs be sure to pet it.
