There are entrances and random tunnels throughout the museum. When you go in you never know where you will come out. This does make it more difficult to keep up with the kids. We have also had issues with the adults not always fitting in the spaces the kids do so keep that in mind.
When they have to lay flat on their stomachs to get through, there is no way we were going to make it.
Climbing makes you hungry.
There are fun places you end up that are the "end" of a tunnel and let you see out over other parts of the museum.
I'm pretty sure this wheel didn't do anything except use their energy. It was awesome.
You never know which direction you might end up going and it's not just because we were following 5 year olds.
How did they get under there? That's next to where the little train goes by (see yesterday's post).
This looks like a fun idea. The kids climb up with with minimal problems.
That is me behind them. Having many problems. I'm short, but my body isn't shaped in a spiral.
They appeared in the stomach of the... dinosaur? sea monster? thingy.
We visited in the Winter when not everything was open and they had reduced hours. I can't wait to go back when everything is open. Despite visiting twice I have yet to make it to the roof. There are also schedule circus performances, but I have yet to see those either. I think we spent a full day here, but could have stayed longer. We were tired and the kids slept so well that night. Isn't that a parent's dream? Happy kids and an easy bed time routine make life awesome.
