Sweet Daughter started a new instrument this year and wasn't ready to perform in a concert. Being our child who loves performing, she wanted to put on her own concert at home.

Hand Warmers

Every year we make something to give family and friends for Christmas. This year the kids agreed to make everyone hand warmers. We cut out squares of material, sewed almost the entire thing together (see yesterday's post), then filled them with rice. These can be popped in the microwave and then stuck in a pocket to keep hands warm.

Learning to Use a Sewing Machine

When your six year old asks to use a sewing machine, you instantly agree, right? Well we did! She was so happy to be helping. This was for a project for friends and family as Christmas gifts. You can learn more about it on tomorrow's post.
