City Museum, part 1 the outside

If you have never been to the City Museum in St. Louis, you should make plans to go. Other than a doorknob exhibit, this isn't a museum like you have ever been to. It is basically a giant industrial playground. Today's post will just show the things you can do outside the building . There will actually be 3 posts total and I still won't be able to show you everything.

There are so many tunnels and tubes to climb through it's amazingly fun.

See the airplane that is just hanging out up there? See the two tiny people on the left wing? That's us.

Sweet Daughter flying the plane.

Here you can see many of the tunnels and things to climb on. Do you see near the top the curved tunnel with people climbing through? That's us!

Sweet Son posing with a different plane. Yes, there is more than one plane included in this climbing structure.

Looking down on one plane from up higher.

Sweet Son driving the fire truck. Yes, the fire truck is also held up high outside the building for people to climb in, on, and around.

There is a giant outdoor ball pit. It had been raining so the balls were wet. I LOVE this photo. It looks so peaceful and calm. It's all a matter of perspective.

This was taken less than one minute later. Sweet Daughter is in the back center near the fully grown boys.

On Thursday and Friday I will write more about the inside of the City Museum. There is more to do there than on the outside!
