City Museum, Part 2 - The rides

I'm using the term "ride" very loosely here. You will see what I mean as we go. This is a continuation post about the City Museum in St. Louis.

We need one or two of these for home. Maybe a lighter one that they can operate on their own...

You could take the stairs or... Watching Sweet Son go down a slide.

They thought this would be fun. It's a little train ride. Turns out it really wasn't.

Sit back, relax, and WEEEE!

You know we all had to try that. Many, many times!

A rope swing and a little help from a friend.

That's another way to do it.

This "slide" is much steeper than it looks.

Sweet Daughter had no hesitation and went right down, on her stomach.

Sweet Son watched for awhile. Then he tried some of the smaller "slides". Finally he just needed a little encouragement. Then Wonderful Husband joined him. Told you it was steep.

The kids getting ready to go down the 5 story slide. Some of the braver adults went up to the 10 story slide. There is no elevator so you really have to work for it.

Tomorrow I will write all about climbing inside. There is no way to show everything, so you are just going to have to go there yourself!
