"I want it."
"No I want it."
Me: "Ok, pick a number between 1 and 10."
Son: "1"
Daughter: "Purple"
Me: "Well, Son is definitely closer so he gets it."
I
wonder how long this method of problem solving will work. So far I've
used it twice and they have neither one argued or been upset with the
results.
Sweet Son put his shorts on backwards then decided it was too difficult to
change them. His solution? He put his shirt on backwards so they would
match. I love that he told me he was going to put his shirt on backwards
before he did it. I might have tried to correct him otherwise!
