DeleteI was in college. Dr. Singh was my favorite and he wore a pink turban with a matching pink and blue striped tie to class. He convinced me to switch from electrical to civil engineering. He was very practical and straighforward and not hung up on theory. If you need a high school teacher it was Mr. Duebert who taught computer science which in my day meant Basic programming and Fortran 77. He now writes computer books and lives in the Catalina Islands (in California).
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you kept in contact with your high school teacher. :) Dr. Singh sounds very memorable!
DeleteMrs. Carey, and I was in the fourth grade. :)

ReplyDeleteI love hearing about teachers who change your way of thinking instead of just teaching you facts. :)
