Six Flags, part 3

After the little kid rides, we explored the rest of the park seeing what they were tall enough to try.

Ready for our 3D adventure shooting the bad guys

We all love interactive rides

This was one of my favorite roller coasters pre-kids. This year Sweet Daughter decided she wanted to do it with me. The car holds 4 people and spins. The more uneven the weight of the people, the more it spins. I'm about 4 times her weight and the other people in our car were also unevenly matched. It was AWESOME!

After the ride showing off her first big coaster.

A smaller roller coaster that they decided to sit with each other instead of us. That was a bit sad, but that's just because I don't want them to grow up.

Six Flags, part 2

We started in the little kids area, which wasn't crowded at all. If you see yesterday's Wordless Wednesday post you will see our kids riding by themselves and you can't beat that.

How fast can they spin? (Fast enough to make Wonderful Husband sick from watching.)

Six Flags over Texas, part 1

Every year we participate in the Six Flags Read to Succeed program. If they meet their reading goals they get a free one day pass to Six Flags and we love every minute of it!

It's Daffy!

Sylvester!

I should note that the kids have no idea who these characters are but they are finally at the age where neither of them is scared of costumed characters.

Six Flags

The kids are big enough to go on some rides by themselves. They are growing up too fast. Someone slow this down!

Spinning ride (they are in the purple one)

Rockets (she is in front and he is in back)

Boot Scooting - he's hiding behind her in all the photos

A playground

Thursday I will have more photos of rides we rode as a family. (Wordless Wednesday will also feature a Six Flags photo tomorrow.)

Six Flags Characters

Have you heard of the Six Flags Read to Succeed program? If students read enough during the Winter they can earn free tickets to Six Flags. Most of the Six Flags across the country participate though a few locations don't. This was our first year participating and it was awesome! Here are some of our character pictures.

I will have another character photo for Wordless Wednesday this week. I will have other photos of rides and things around the park later this week.
