Shredding Cheese

Hair Cut

Sweet Daughter wanted a hair cut. She asked to have it all cut off and have a buzz cut. We suggested starting with just a few inches at a time.

Hair Dye

Purple Hair Dye didn't work, so this time Sweet Daughter asked for black. She wanted the blackest black possible. My fair skinned tiny daughter wanted black hair. Our first question was "why?" She wants black hair so she looks more like Daddy. Awwww So here we go!

We used 2 full tubes of black dye.

It's not as black as she wanted and only lasted a few days. I still refuse to bleach her blond hair in order to dye it though!

Hair Dye Results

Remember the bright purple dye we used in Sweet Daughter's hair? Here is the result...

Well, you can almost see it... The tips are purple, the rest just turned more of a brown. 

They are both so happy though! 

The back shows the color a bit better. This lasted less than a week and wasn't anywhere even close to what she wanted, but she was happy.

Hair Dye

Sweet Daughter wanted her hair dyed purple. She picked out the color and here is what happened

Haircut!

Sweet Son decided he wanted a major hair cut. I love his long hair and wish he would keep it, but it is his hair and not mine.

Both kids wanted a hair cut, which is rare in our family. Here are the before and after photos.

I promise it is shorter, but it doesn't look like it when wet and straight.

Dyed Hair

Sweet Daughter asked if she could dye her hair. Our rule is - if you take care of your hair, you choose what it looks like. If I take care of your hair, you get a buzz cut. So here we are dying her hair in rainbow stripes.

Sweet Son decided he wanted a hair cut. As much as I love his hair long, it's his hair and not mine. Here are the before and after photos.

Ok, short hair for him is still chin length, but it is so much shorter than before. He clearly loves it and that is what matters.
