Read to Rover

This has quickly become another favorite activity at our local library. They bring in therapy dogs and let the kids read books to them.

Sweet Daughter is reading to a dog stretched out on his back. She was proud she got to pet the dog's tummy while reading. I'm sure the dog was proud of that as well. ;)

I'm not sure Sweet Son's dog liked his choice of book based on the look on his face, haha.

Read to Rover

Our library has so many amazing programs. This year we decided to try out the Read to Rover program. They bring in therapy dogs and the kids go in and read to the dogs. If you have any idea how much the kids love dogs and reading, you know this will go well.

Library Programs

Our local library is amazing. It only has one branch, yet offers so much more than many other libraries. We use it for books, videos, and the other typical things. They also let you rent technology - 3D pens, programmable robots, and  maker kits. They have areas for different ages of kids to play when taking a break from reading. They also have great programs. These are pictures from one of the programs last year where you could meet animal ambassadors.

Well, hi there!

So cute entertaining!
